Welcome! I’m Nanja, a dedicated colon hydrotherapist with years of experience in promoting health and wellness through natural detoxification methods.
My first experience with sluggish bowels, constipation, brain fog, anxiety, and wheat belly began during my long career in dentistry. The effects of toxic stress and working long hours—often 10 hours a day in front of a computer six days a week—took a serious toll on my health until I found a colon therapist.
I am passionate about guiding individuals on their journey to optimal health by using gentle, effective colon hydrotherapy techniques.
My journey into this field began after discovering the profound impact holistic health practices had on my own life. I pursued extensive training and earned my certification from The Living Water Institute, equipping me with the skills to offer tailored treatments that meet each client’s unique needs.
At Colonic Health Solutions, I provide colon hydrotherapy sessions, nutritional counseling, and serve as the scheduling coordinator for our bio-identical hormone replacement nurse practitioner.
Hormones cannot balance themselves when the gut and liver are stressed. Hormonal imbalance does not start with the hormones; it starts with the organs responsible for processing them. When the gut and liver are overwhelmed, hormones cannot be properly cleared, converted, or regulated.
This can lead to symptoms such as PMS, acne (especially around the chin and jawline), mood swings, irritability, anxiety, weight resistance, fatigue, low motivation, and difficulty with temperature regulation.
Liver overload and hormone backlog occur when the liver becomes congested and is unable to clear hormones—especially estrogen—causing them to recirculate instead of being eliminated. This can result in estrogen dominance, PMS, breakouts, and mood swings.
Sluggish digestion and poor hormone conversion can also occur. Healthy bile flow is essential for breaking down fats and absorbing fat-soluble vitamins needed for hormone production. Slow digestion leads to poor absorption, which contributes to hormonal instability.
Constipation and hormone recirculation are closely linked. If you are not eliminating daily, excess hormones can be reabsorbed into the bloodstream. This is one of the biggest hidden drivers of hormonal imbalance and dis-ease.
Dysbiosis and estrobolome disruption also play a role. Gut bacteria help regulate estrogen levels, and when the microbiome is unbalanced, estrogen can spike, leading to bloating, heavy periods, and skin flare-ups.
First, clear the colon. Daily elimination helps prevent hormone recirculation and is essential for balanced cycles and clear skin. A healthy, clear gut allows the “second brain” to repair itself and begin restoring healthy brain chemistry. Dopamine and serotonin production start in the gut—happy gut, happy brain.
Second, feed and repair the gut. A healthy microbiome supports better hormone metabolism and long-term balance.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me deeply involved in my spiritual practice, including meditation and yoga at home. I believe in “taking my meds” daily—by which I mean meditation, diet exercise, and sleep. I believe in a holistic approach to health and am excited to share my knowledge with you.
